Alexandria Dopson
Known as the, “First Lady of 1500 or Nothin,” Alexandria is a vocalist, songwriter, vocal producer, performer, and vocal arranger. She began singing at 4 years old and experienced her first recording studio session when she was only 8 years old. Alexandria came from a loving family with a strong musical background and spent a lot of her time in recording studios, church’s, live performance venues and rehearsal halls. Alexandria has always loved and been inspired by the arts of music, dance, harmony, and acting. At seventeen she began to take singing more seriously and she was chosen to be the lead singer for the Voices of Gospel Youth Choir. Alexandria began to branch off into the music industry by singing demos for various producers and songwriters. She’s also sang background for Artist like Bobby Valentino, C.J. Hilton, Miss Lauren Hill and several other local artist. Alexandria’s vocals are unique, trendy, commercial, yet sensually soothing. Having a very close relationship with her brother Larrance, he would play the piano or produce tracks and she would sing and write to them, beginning her journey as a songwriter. Their collaboration is amazing. As she continued to grow as a writer she developed the ability to change her voice and delivery that best suits the presentation of any record written, specializing in Pop Music. Her songs are lyrically creative, visually and emotionally driven. In 1500 or Nothin” she has taking the role of artist development. Any one who’s worked with her once falls in love because she brings so much to the table because she leads by example. Alexandria is vocally featured on a song entitled “Change the World” produced and written by 1500 or Nothin , Kenny Gamble, Leon Huff ,Snoop Dogg ,and Minister Louis Farakhan on violins. Alex has also been vocally featured on Hevy D’s “Private Dancer”, Snoop Doggs “Booty Automatic” Asher roth ” G.R.I.N.D. to name a few. Alexandria has worked with Nipsey Hussle, The Game, Just Blaze, Gorilla Black, and a massive amount of un-signed artist. Alexandria is extremely talented and gifted woman and soon enough the world will hear.
